In response to the last comment I was answering the original question that was posted by saying, "It looks like we have two now, castles and crowns and KGCN" - I've never used those so I can't say if they are watered down or not. I think there was a little misunderstanding there. I hope they are not watered down as we have a very unique and special messge to share with the world to kids and through kids. I want to see more helps for our pivotal truths, Ellen white, Sabbath, State of the Dead, sanctuary, ect.

It looks like we have two now, Castles and Crowns, and KGCN - right? Talk about watered down principles- we still water them down for kids, even in the books God loves me 28 ways. I'd really like to see our church start aggressively producing evangelistic kits (like "Come meet Jesus") for our people. I know it takes a lot of work, but why shouldn't we be working for the Lord in this way, especially for our kids, instead of letting Group publishing do it all??!

I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say Group is doing all the work. The new programs follow the format of the popular VBS programs because they are a wonderful model of teaching all learning styles. But the content was not watered down at all. Come Meet Jesus is an excellent program but it is dated in format--not content. In other words, it doesn't reach all the different learning styles that our children today use. We want to reach all our kids--and the best way to do that is with a organized and creative approach. Please comment back as to the things you found watered down about Castles and Crowns. Our church found it to be a real blessing.
