What is Kids' Ministry Ideas?

Kids' Ministry Ideas is a resource publication for those leading children to Jesus. It supports children's ministries leaders by providing affirmation, pertinent and informative articles, program ideas, resource suggestions, and answers to questions from a Seventh-day Adventist Christian perspective.

Who reads Kids Ministry Ideas?

Kids' Ministry Ideas is read by a wide variety of people. However, it is geared to those who provide spiritual nurturing to children in a local church. This includes, but is not limited to Sabbath School division leaders and teachers (beginner/cradle roll through earliteen): Adventist Junior Youth leaders; Vacation Bible School personnel; children's church storytellers and coordinators; and children's choir directors. Material is also useful for parents, schoolteachers, day-care workers, camp directors-anyone who loves to work with kids!

How often is Kids' Ministry Ideas published?

Four quarterly issues are published annually; winter, spring, summer, autumn. Some of the material is used during a specific quarter, but is not dated for use on a particular Sabbath.

What types of articles and material are published in Kids' Ministry Ideas?

Kids' Ministry Ideas is a resource that is practical. Material needs to provide specific, helpful how-to's for children's leaders. Articles on a wide range of subjects appear in KMI, but they generally have one thing in common-practical ideas and easy-to-understand instructions that people can implement in their area of ministry. Use of sidebars, boxes, and lists of information is encouraged, as this dilutes copy intensity and makes articles more readable.
